Welcome to the Light Academy Library.

We provide comprehensive information about Library resources and services, links to some electronic resources for the benefit of staff and students, and many other links to freely available Internet resources that we think will be useful to Library users. You can also find Library policy here.

Our role is to provide access to the information resources for research learning and teaching. There is a wealth of material to support learning and research at the library.

Guidance and assistance is available from any member of Library staff.

• Monday - Friday 8.00 - 16.00
• Saturday 8.00 - 14.00
• Sunday Closed

The physical library holds:

• Books, Videos, DVDs & CDs

• Collection of books selected by our teachers

• Journals and magazines

• Reference Collection of dictionaries, encyclopaedias and directories

Library regulations

Please abide by the Library regulations. These are summarised below:

• You need to have a valid membership card in order to enter the Library and borrow material.

• You should renew or return items promptly, especially if someone else has requested them. Fines are charged on overdue items.

• You should not bring food or drink into the Library or smoke in the Library.

• You must turn your mobile phone to silent before entering the Library and must not use it whilst in the Library.

• You need to abide by copyright legislation and electronic licence agreements.

• Please treat other Library users and Library staff with courtesy and respect.

• Do not disturb other readers and please maintain absolute silence in designated areas.
