In 2000           

• Gold Medal in 8^th International Environmental Project Olympiad (INEPO) with a project named “Industrial use of Water Hyacinth” in Turkey
• Participation in International Computer Olympiad in China

In 2001           

• Participation in International Computer Olympiad in Finland
• 6 of 12 members for the International Physics and Biology Olympiad Teams have been selected from Light Academy, thus winning the “Best School” title countrywide in Physics and Biology
• Participation in International Physics Olympiad in England
