Light Academy qualifies for the National Elocution Competition

The festival which is held under the auspices of Kenya Music Festival foundation, saw Light Academy compete at the provincial level and scooped the top position in the following cartegories;

Rap, position one by Austine Bwire which advocates for humanitarian unity

Solo verse position two titled "I stand corrected" a satirical verse that speaks for the student to the teacher on how education should be imparted. It was performed by Paul Chege  who also merited as position two speaker in public speaking cartegory.

At position three was Ian Situma with a verse titled Serenade , John Kinja with a verse titled "Bitter letter" which echoes the effects of the TV to a student and its contribution to failure.

The Ngonjera category which is the dialogue choral titled "Machorombozi" which means a reward given to someone who has found and returned a lost possession . 

Their quest for the best is on as they prepare for the nationals to be held in Kakamega early this August.
